No. Many of our guests are first-timers. All we ask is that you can follow instructions, are willing to paddle, and are comfortable in and around water. We brief everyone thoroughly before launch.

A reasonable level of fitness helps, but you don't need to be an athlete. Class III–IV trips require active paddling and swimming ability in moving water. If you have health concerns, reach out and we'll talk through what's right for you.

Swimming (going overboard) is a normal part of whitewater rafting. Our guides are Swift Water Rescue certified and are trained to recover swimmers quickly and safely. We practice this in calm water before every trip.

Terrace is where the road ends and the river begins. We meet the whole crew there the day before launch - plenty of time to settle in, grab dinner, and get to know your fellow rafters before the water does the talking. Come launch morning, we'll gather around 9 AM and handle everything from there: gear, briefing, and the drive to the put-in. Flying into Vancouver, Kamloops, or Prince George works too - just connect on to Terrace and we'll take it from there. Got a flight time or arrangement that doesn't quite fit? We know plans don't always go the way you expect, so here's how cancellations work on our end. Your 15% deposit is non-refundable - it's what allows us to lock in permits, staffing, and equipment as soon as you book. But anything you pay beyond that is fully refundable if you cancel more than 60 days before your launch date.Inside 60 days, we've already committed real costs to your trip - guides are booked, food is ordered, gear is prepped - so payments made at that point are non-refundable too. That said, if something comes up, get in touch. We'll always do what we reasonably can to help, whether that's moving you to a future departure or working through other options together.If a trip doesn't reach our minimum group size and has to be cancelled on our end, you'll get a full refund or the choice to transfer to another date. Yes - note any dietary needs in your booking request and we'll plan camp food accordingly. We cater to vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-based requirements with advance notice.
