FLY IN
Northwest Regional Airport (YXT) is served by Air Canada and Pacific Coastal, with connections through Vancouver. Coming from further afield? Fly into Vancouver, Kamloops, or Prince George and connect on to Terrace from there.
DRIVE IN
Terrace sits about 1,450 km north of Vancouver via Highway 16 - roughly 14–15 hours behind the wheel. We're happy to advise on vehicle storage once your trip is booked.
ARRIVE THE DAY BEFORE
We ask everyone to land in Terrace the evening before launch. It gives you a full night's rest, time to meet the group, and a buffer against flight delays or long drives - no one wants to start an expedition running behind.
LAUNCH MORNING PICKUP
We gather the whole crew around 9 AM on launch day. From there, it's ours to handle - gear, briefing, and the drive to the put-in. No vehicle needed beyond getting yourself to Terrace.

NIGHT BEFORE
Settle In
Check into town, grab dinner, and get to know the faces you'll be sharing a river with. This is the calm before the current - take it easy, pack your dry bag, and get a good night's sleep.
LAUNCH DAY
We Take It From Here
Meet your guides around 8–9 AM. We'll handle rigging, briefing, and the drive to the put-in — all you need to bring is your gear and your appetite for the days ahead.
TAKEOUT DAY
Back to Terrace
We drive the group back to Terrace once we're off the water. Plan to spend one more night in town before you head home - a shower, a real bed, and a chance to let the trip sink in.
