Why This Trip

Four Reasons It Stands Out

01

Your Hands on the Oars.

Row your own raft through Bell-Irving Canyon, the Keopecte Crux, The Wall, and Moose Carcass Canyon.

02

A Guide for the Lines.

A WCW guide who knows every rapid shows you the way, organizes the logistics, and sets up camp.

03

Fly In, Float Out.

Rafts, equipment, food, and airport transport are covered. No trailers, no shuttles, no hauling gear across the country.

04

The Nass, Your Way.

Flexible dates and trip length for the right crew, on a river with big water, beautiful camps, and deep cultural roots.

The Heart of It

What Makes This Trip

A self-led descent of the Nass River with everything handled for you. You'll run the same world-class river as our guided expeditions, from the Bell-Irving and the Keopecte Crux to the beaches below Meziadin Creek, but your group rows its own rafts and makes its own calls, with a WCW guide alongside to organize logistics, set up camp, and show you the lines.

Born in the Sacred Headwaters, the Nass is a powerful Class IV river that rewards confident rowers. This trip is only for those comfortable rowing and kayaking in Class IV, and we'll ask for proof of your skill before confirming your booking. Typical trips run six days, with flexible dates and length.
